The invention discloses a waste plastic recycling method for increasing heat distortion temperature, including the following steps: soaking waste plastic products in a cleaning solution for 4 to 5 hours, rinsing with clean water, drying, and finally cutting into fragments with a particle size of 1–2 cm; processing the obtained fragments via a plastic extruder to prepare waste plastic masterbatches; mixing activated alumina, hydrogenated poly-1-decene and tributyl borate under stirring to prepare a modifier; blending the waste plastic masterbatches with the modifier at a mass ratio of 10–13:1, feeding the mixture into a plastic extruder for melt extrusion into a mold, and cooling to room temperature to obtain finished products. The recycling method is simple to operate and low in cost. The produced plastic products have excellent quality, and their heat distortion temperature is significantly improved.
